Hey Mark,

So you are planning to visit India. Good choice!

First of all, let me warn you that as soon as you land in India you will be greeted with utter chaos. All the smells around, the sea of people, the sheer colors everywhere, the traffic, will all be an assault to your senses. I am not telling all this to scare you my friend, but that is exactly the beauty of this place.

We the people of India, find happiness in the chaos and that is how we are wired. We need a whole bunch of our loved ones around us all the time, no matter what the situation is, be it a festival, a funeral, a wedding just about anything, really!

As for the kind of places you want to visit, you name it we have it. If you are interested in snow covered mountains, visit the himalayas. If you feel like spending your time lazing on a beautiful beach, visit Goa. If you feel lilke taking a camel ride in a desert, visit Rajasthan. If you are a lover of architecture, visit the beautiful temples in South India. As I said, you name it we have it.
